The plan you need will mostly depend on:
- How much data you wish to upload in the platform (number of maps, layers, features and data storage)
- Access to more advanced features such as the REST API and the ability to setup public maps
CartoVista is a pay-as-you-go subscription service, for example you can start with a basic plan and choose to upgrade later.
If you exceed your plan limits (example number of layers), you are invited to simply upgrade your plan. When you upgrade, you are charged only for the difference (pro-rata). You can also purchase additional users, cloud data storage (additional 1 GB monthly) and geocoding transactions in your account.
With the CartoVista free plan you can create a single map with restrained data (3 x layers of 5,000 features maximum). All of the CartoVista tools are fully enabled to created compelling story maps online.
You can easily manage your subscription plan, the number of users you need and your billing cycle in your account management. When you upgrade, you are charged only for the difference (pro-rata). When you downgrade, the changes are applied at the end of your next billing period.
Cancelling your monthly subscription is very simple and can be done online in your account. Log-in and choose the user settings menu. In the billing and payment tab, click on Cancel.
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards. Payments are processed via stripe so you can be confident your transaction is 100% secure. For annual subscriptions, it is also possible to pay via wire transfer.
