Sharing Information

CartoVista offers many ways of sharing the map's information to a wide audience:

• The Print Layout option is used to configure the print layout and export the map to a PDF file, including items such as the legend, metadata and date.
• The Sharing option is use to distribute the interactive map via social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, or embed the map into an existing website.
• You can also integrate various elements of the map in your documents using the Export and Copy to clipboard tools.

Export

This tool is used to export individual components to a file on your local computer. You can export:

• the Map Interface in PNG format
• the Data and Selection panels in XLSX format
• the Charts in PNG or SVG format
• the Legend in PNG format

The files will be saved in the default download directory of your web browser.

Copy to clipboard

This tool is used to copy data to the clipboard. You can copy from:

• the Data panel
• the Selection panel
• the Information panel
