Map View Settings

The Map View Settings dialog has four tabs:

• Current View: Current map view.

• Initial View: Initial map view when the published map is first opened.

• Maximum Extents: Largest map view possible.
• Zoom Restrictions: Range of scales between which the map is visible.

Use Lat/Long Coordinate System Values

The coordinates values displayed in the Map View Settings dialog are in the coordinate system of the Map Window. You can use Lat/Long coordinates if you enable the Use Lat/Long Coordinate System Values check box at the bottom of the dialog. Disable this setting to return to the coordinate system units of the map.
