How to share a map with colleagues

Maps can easily be shared with internal users or with external users via email.

Open a map and click on then “Share”:

• Share with the team: select one or multiple user(s) from the list then click “Share”. This will add View permissions for this map and any layers of the map you have access to (see our dedicated article on permissions). You can also enable email notification: users will receive an email with a link to open the map.

• Share with external users: enter an email and click “Add” or press Enter. Then, click “Invite“. This will require you to make the map and the layers public. External users will receive an email with a link to open the map.

You can also copy the link to share it with users who have access to it with . By default, all users have access to new maps. You can also get the code snippet to embed the map.
