Gatineau, November 23rd 2010 – DBx GEOMATICS is proud to announce the opening of a new office in Le Bourget du Lac, France, in the heart of the Alps, one hour away from Geneva. The new workplace is part of the Savoie Technolac high-technology park, which brings together French and international companies to inspire exchanges and promote innovative business initiatives. By entering the French marketplace, DBx GEOMATICS will be able to increase support for its existing European customers and to develop new business opportunities.
The new office has already signed a partnership agreement with Géosignal, one of the premiere engineering companies specialized in geo-spatial data. Géosignal is part of the BVA group, a leader in France for marketing and opinion research. Géosignal is using DBx’s CartoVista solution to developed rich web mapping applications for the statistical analysis needs of their customers. They have also developed a fraud analysis application for RATP, the Parisian area urban transport service provider, which includes strategic tools for geographic data visualization and exploration.
DBx GEOMATICS will be actively expanding its European market while preparing for the launch of CartoVista 3.0 in the first quarter of 2011. The company will also be part of the International Cartographic Conference (http://www.icc2011.fr/) in Paris next July where it will present the new features and functionality of CartoVista 3.0.
